Attendance

At Blanche Nevile School, we believe that every school day matters. Regular attendance gives pupils the best opportunity to learn, make progress, develop friendships and feel a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

For our pupils, consistent attendance is particularly important because learning builds progressively over time. 

Missing lessons can mean missing key knowledge, skills, communication opportunities and experiences that can be difficult to replace.

We understand that children and families may sometimes face challenges that affect attendance. 

We are committed to working positively and collaboratively with families to understand barriers to attendance and provide appropriate support.

We encourage all families to make attendance a priority and to ensure that children arrive at school on time, ready to learn and participate. Parents/carers are also able to check their child's attendance through Arbor, the school's MIS system.
